When selling a used car do the following to add value…………

wash and valet……….. dent removal (those small dents can be removed by your local dent doctor)…………… glass repair (for those small stone chips) …………… mag wheel refurbishment (ask your nearest tyre stockist to help you with this)………body polish………….

When buying ask……….. what is the date of first registration………. Does the car have full service history……………. What is the total cost, including road cost and extra’s……… trust your gut…. If something feels wrong walk away…………

If you are not wanting to make money off cars and simply buy a reasonable bargain from a local dealer, then also look for …………... will the dealership be around in a few months……..housekeeping of the premises………. not maintained indicates fly by night………is the dealer bank approved……….registered with financial services board (ask for proof)……… is dealers financial consultant registered with National Credit Registrar (ask for proof)……… don’t buy from salesman that don’t return calls……… ask for 10 recent customers who are referrals……….
