Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport

When I have a million pounds to spend on a car I won’t spend it on something as ugly as a Bugatti Roadster...... Those chrome wheels are just HORRIBLE..... The original Veyron is more my style.

Most motor journalists will languish on about the carbon fibre reinforced monocoque that makes it stiffer than any other roadster….. the carbon fibre doors and roll protection…. how the better design allows for more dissipation of impact energy…….BUT despite all of this and the amount of money you pay you still can’t even take your roof with you, if you want to go topless..... they give you an umbrella capable of doing 130km/h……………

150 number will be hand assembled in Molsheim, Alsace. The first 50 will go to registered Bugatti owners. The first car is to be donated to charity……. And sold to the highest bidder at the Pebble Beach Auction presented by Gooding & Company

Mid engine. Moisture resistant leather seats. Reversing camera. “Puccini” sound system with digital signal processor. 360km/h top speed with the roof off......... and when it rains a folding “umbrella roof” in the luggage compartment that allows 130km/h.

......... look out for my previous article on the newest Ferrari killer the McLaren MP4-12C
